To support suicide prevention efforts: both nationally and locally.
To end the stigma associated with seeking help.
To recognize and remember loved ones that are no longer with us.
To support our friends and neighbors who have lost someone close to them.
These are just some of the reasons that folks take part in the Out of the Darkness – Marquette County Community Walk for Suicide Prevention.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at the Al Quaal Recreation Area in Ishpeming, MI.
Marquette County will join THOUSANDS of people who take part in the walks, nation-wide.
