To support suicide prevention efforts: both nationally and locally.
To end the stigma associated with seeking help.
To recognize and remember loved ones that are no longer with us.
To support our friends and neighbors who have lost someone close to them.
These are just some of the reasons that folks take part in the Out of the Darkness – Marquette County Community Walk for Suicide Prevention.
This year’s event was held on September 20th, 2014 at the Al Quaal Recreation Area in Ishpeming, MI.
The Marquette County community joined THOUSANDS of people who took part in the walks, nation-wide.
